Accounts Payable Support Associate

Assistant Branch Manager

  • Work the parts counter on a daily basis to ensure proper procedures are being followed
  • Assist in the hiring process and supervise employees who meet all critical requirements and qualifications for each position (counter sales, warehouse, delivery drivers, outside sales, and others as approved)
  • Assist in planning work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activites are performed effectively and to respond to fluctuating workloads
  • Communicate with employees on a regular basis to ensure procedures are followed, new procedures and methods are considered and new approved methods or procedures are known and carried out on a timely basis.
  • Assist Branch Manager appraise and document employee performance at regular intervals as required by company procedures, ensuring a plan for improving employee performance and potential. Meet with each employee at least once a year (on their anniversary date) to formally review their performance and discuss future performance objectives and goals.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the heavy-duty truck parts industry with demonstrated progressive areas of responsibility, including at least 1 year of experience in heavy-duty truck parts sales.

  • Check-in core parts
  • Remove old lining from brake shoes using delining equipment and zip guns
  • Clean, sandblast, and paint brake shoes in preparation for riveting operation
  • Operate washers and other cleaning equipment as well as boxing station
  • Rivet shoes with proper lining and rivets and perform quality checks to ensure that customer standards are met

  • Reconcile credits to inventory postings and make necessary account coding changes.
  • Maintain and reconcile records related to return purchase orders.
  • Note and take appropriate deductions for credits not received within designated timeframe.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows XP components. Intermediate knowledge of Access MS is a plus.

Director of E-Commerce Solutions & FleetCare

  • Develop and present aggressive growth oriented plans with appropriate timelines and benchmarks for expanding our e-business commerce.
  • Develop new strategies to increase sales to new and existing customers throughout FleetPride and to further strategize to reduce transactional cost through significantly increased utilization of e-commerce tools in the field (CRM, FleetPride On-Line, National Call Center, etc.).
  • Research, analyze and champion new programs designed to increase sales, profitability and work processes.
  • Analyze user and transaction data to determine effectiveness of FP On-Line utilization. Follow up with users to determine cause and provide remedies to issues or opportunities.
  • Build and implement sales training tools (prospecting, closing, account management, etc.) for both existing and potential FleetCare affiliates.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing Department, develop, produce, and implement Trade Ads, Public and Press Relations, Trade Show Displays, Brochures and Catalogs relating to FleetCare.
  • Develop and manage P&L for assigned department(s).

  • Read blueprints when furnished by customer for special fabrication and assembly of driveshaft.
  • Repair drive shafts according to company standards.

Driver Associate

  • Load materials into vehicle and install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
  • Check vehicles before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience
